Family Martial Arts was founded in 2002 by Head Instructor, Dean Franco. Looking to incorporate a more effective self defense program, Dean broke away from the more traditional curriculum and developed a unique blend of martial arts. As a result, Family Martial Arts has taken shape to become the first martial arts school in Connecticut to offer Mixed Martial Arts to children.
